Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Onboard with Intune

In this video we will configure integration of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint with Intune to onboard and manage Windows Defender on Windows devices.

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an enterprise grade protection for end-user devices such as laptops, mobile phones, tables running Android, iOS/iPadOS and Windows.

This cloud based solution helps to prevent, detect, investigate and respond to cyberattacks threatening your company endpoints.

We will enable Defender for Endpoint for your tenant to onboard devices that use Windows 10 or later for this demo. We will go through setting up licensing trials, initial settings that need to be configured and onboarding of a group to add users. Also look at configuring detections for next generation protection and attack surface reduction and look at the different options available.

Finally we will take a look at the defender client rolled out to a client device and validate and confirm its managed by intune.
